Does the property have parking ?

On certain dates (busy weekends, events, and school holidays), parking in the city center can be VERY difficult and/or expensive (€25/day and fines 7 days a week).

  • L’IDEAL 112 has its own designated parking spot in the building courtyard.
  • Our other rentals: We will provide you with a parking map to help you find a free spot near your rental.
Do you accept pets ?

Your clean and house-trained dog is always welcome at no extra charge in all our vacation rentals, regardless of size or breed. However, dogs are strictly prohibited on beds and sofas.Please bring your pets’s bed or blanket.

Can we pick up the keys before the usual check-in time and/or stay in the rental apartment after the usual check-out time?

We are flexible whenever it is possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an early check-in or late check-out until our schedule is finalized (no later than the day before your arrival).

Do you have a crib ?

There is a travel cot in the L’IDEAL 112 and another in the L’IDEAL 56. In accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, they do not come with an additional mattress for safety reasons.

Which beach is more beautiful : Deauville ou Trouville ?

Both beaches are beautiful. Deauville is more upscale and better developed, while Trouville is more natural and family-friendly.

Where can I stay between Deauville and Trouville ?

Trouville is often more affordable.

Whether you choose to stay in one town or the other, always opt for accommodations right in the heart of downtown… and ideally in the Golden Triangle if possible (a small detail that will make all the difference!).

Can we explore Deauville and Trouville on foot ?

Yes, everything is easily accessible on foot in these two coastal towns, which are connected by a bridge. They’re so small that they’re like two complementary neighborhoods of a single city. You can walk back and forth between them in just a few minutes.

Do we need a car to visit Deauville and Trouville ?

No, you don’t need a car to visit either town. Both are easily accessible on foot… as long as you’re staying in the very center of Deauville or Trouville.

Where should I go for a weekend in Normandy ?

There are no hypermarkets (large supermarkets) in either of the two resorts.

The closest ones (LECLERC, CARREFOUR, and LIDL) are located in the neighboring town of Touques, just a few minutes’ drive from Deauville Trouville.

What to do in and around Deauville ?

Deauville is one of the most popular seaside destinations in Normandy, known for its beach, lifestyle, and activities all year round.

Start with a walk along Deauville Beach and the famous Les Planches de Deauville, then continue to Trouville-sur-Merfor a more authentic atmosphere.

Enjoy water sports like paddleboarding (North Shore Surf School), relax on the beach, or go horseback riding by the sea (Mangeoire Equestrian Club)— one of Deauville’s signature experiences. Golf, tennis, and cycling are also very popular in the area.

Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer are ideal family-friendly destinations on the Normandy coast, with plenty of activities for children and parents all year round.

Enjoy a beach day on Deauville Beach or Trouville Beach — perfect for swimming, sandcastles, beachcombing, pony rides, and family walks along Les Planches de Deauville.

For active fun, kids and teens can try paddleboarding, sailing lessons, beach clubs, bike rides, pedal cars (“Rosalies”), mini-golf, escape game at the Hangar à Énigmes, or even horse riding with La Mangeoire Equestrian Club. There are also playgrounds, mini-golf, trampolines, and carousels along the seafront during the holiday season. A go-karting session at the Saint-Arnoult track will delight older kids.

What can you do in Deauville if you have a car and an hour and a half to spare?

Experience a UNIQUE walk at a major historic site in Normandy, just 5 km from Deauville : the Mont Canisy Batteries, a part of the Atlantic Wall. This nature walk (dogs are welcome) among the bunkers, with beautiful views of the sea, is definitely worth the (short) trip.
